Why Should I come to Cast?
Come to Cast to have time away from the craziness of Life and just be. Meet new friends and connect with people who share your faith. Recognize your gifts; learn creative ways to pray; participate in rewarding volunteer community projects, enjoy social events, and more.
Who is it open to?
All teens (Grade 9-12) in the city of Guelph, are welcome!
Where and when do you meet?
Cast meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, from 7:00-8:30pm. (Sept -June). We usually meet at Basilica of Our Lady Parish Hall (1st Semester Sept- Jan) or the Holy Rosary Parish Hall (2nd Semester Feb-June). For location information and any other questions, please contact Wendy Obbema, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out the contact form here.
What does a Cast night look like?
We start with fun and hilarious games. Each night has a theme which includes speakers or video clips, followed by Lively discussions and a short time of prayer. You can expect to hear new ideas, have your questions answered as we delve into topics of Catholic faith that impact our daily Life. Our prayer time is epic.
We deepen our spiritual development with many forms of prayer- it may be praise and worship music, adoration, reading of scripture, silent meditation, and more.
Special Cast nights include social outings or service to the community through volunteer trips.
Whatever happens at Cast, you will definitely come away refreshed in God’s infinite love for all. So don’t hesitate, take a step, and come out to see us one night.
We are waiting for you!
